Dedicated to Empowering and Educating the Asian Community of Fort Bend County

At Dear Asian Youth @ Fort Bend County, we are dedicated to uplifting our AAPI community by amplifying the unique experiences they face and endure. In a society that often ignores our narratives, we want to provide a platform where Asian youth within our area can share their powerful stories and unspoken struggles so that they feel heard and understood. By aiming to create a safe space for them to express themselves, we offer the opportunity for Asian youth to use their voice in hopes that they will feel inspired to unleash their inner potential and make a positive impact in the world.

Our overarching mission here at Dear Asian Youth @ Fort Bend County is comprised of three main goals: empowering Asian youth, educating our community, and encouraging Asian youth to take action.

EMPOWER

Through providing a platform for Asian youth within our area to come together, we hope to empower and embolden them to be proud of their individual and unique identities and heritages. As Fort Bend County is known for its widely diverse population, we look forward to celebrating the multitude of rich cultures within our community!

EDUCATE

At Dear Asian Youth @ Fort Bend County, we are committed to educating our peers and our community about social activism and Asian identity. By educating others throughout our area, we are one step closer to inspiring impactful change, not only on the local level but throughout the world. Change begins with the simple act of listening and learning, and we strive to be a trustworthy source of information to spread the word and broaden perspectives.

ENCOURAGE

As a community of youth, we are at the forefront of inspiring change and reform within our society. As such, we here at Dear Asian Youth @ Fort Bend County are dedicated to encouraging Asian youth within our community to take a stand against the injustices within our society and pursue action swiftly. We want to teach others how to effectively engage in civic matters and activism, as well as how to amplify and uplift marginalized communities for the rest of their lives.
